Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is launching an IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India, expanding tech capabilities with ERP, CRM, CLM, and PLM projects. The role involves leading end-to-end IT integration for M&A and divestiture initiatives, driving PMO improvements, and coordinating with security and infrastructure teams.

Onsite presence in Pune is required during Pacific Time working hours. The ideal candidate has a minimum of ten years of ERP project management experience, PMP or equivalent certification,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Ten years hands-on experience managing ERP projects of increasing complexity or equivalent.
• PMI-PMP or Green/Black Belt or Scrum Master certification preferred.
• Experience in managing M&A projects and coordinating cross functionally with infrastructure and security teams.
• Experience in managing Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs).
• Onsite presence required at Edwards IT Innovation Hub in Pune during Pacific Time Zone working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Integration initiatives including due diligence, security assessments, and integration of networks, cloud services, and applications for M&A.
• Manage TSAs and carve out data and app/infrastructure components for divestiture initiatives.
• Lead large-scale project management practices and manage risks and scope changes.
• Develop and maintain business cases and utilize data for project decisions.
• Lead PMO continuous improvement activities and monitor project performance.

The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Lead cross-functional IT Integration initiative involving comprehensive IT due diligence, conducting security assessments, enhancing end-user productivity, and integrating networks, cloud services, and applications for M&A initiatives.

• Manage Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to carve out both unstructured and structured data, as well as various application and infrastructure components for Divestiture initiatives.

• Extensive understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to managing large scale projects (having managed projects involving implementation of ERP, CRM, CLM, PLM, etc. systems)

• Lead the execution of tasks as defined in the project management plan in order to achieve the project goals, and actively manages project risk

• Determine and discern detailed requirements on larger scale projects to establish the project deliverables, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs to keep the project management plan updated and reflective of authorized project changes

• Facilitate the creation and approval of business cases, and utilizes historical data and expert judgment in order to understand project limitations

• Actively lead one or more Project Management Office (PMO) continuous improvement activities

• Assess project performance to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify variances, perform required corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders

• Establish and maintain team members and project stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external.

• Manage project closure activities, including gathering lessons learned and driving changes to future for continuous improvement

• Serve as a project management subject matter expert, including guiding and mentoring other project managers; demonstrate expertise in a business process, professional discipline, market, or product

What you'll need (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree in related field

• A minimum of ten years hands-on experience managing ERP projects of increasing complexity or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria

• Project Management Professional (PMP). If not, Green belt or Black belt or Scrum Master certification

• Experience in managing M&A projects and coordinating cross functionally with infrastructure and security teams

• Prior experience in managing Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs)

• This role is not a remote position. It requires onsite presence during Pacific Time Zone (Irvine, CA) working hours at the Edwards IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India
