Job summary

Quest Global in Chennai is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale technology initiatives. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, governance, risks, and stakeholder communications while coordinating with technical teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project charters, scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Lead projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
• Manage multiple IT infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and dependencies.
• Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
• Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Monitor project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation plans and drive issue resolution activities.
• Ensure project compliance with organizational standards and controls.
• Maintain project health metrics and status reporting.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
• Coordinate procurement activities and vendor engagements.
• Monitor vendor performance and contractual deliverables.
• Engage with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting.
• Communicate project risks, issues, and key decisions.
• Gather and interpret VOC, VOB, and CCR; develop WBS and plans.
• Align project outcomes with business goals and evolving priorities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead

and deliver infrastructure and technology initiatives across the organization. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets,

governance, risks, stakeholder communication, and vendor coordination while ensuring

successful project execution and business alignment.

The role requires strong project management expertise, excellent communication skills,

and the ability to work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors

to deliver high-quality IT infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

Budget & Vendor Management

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.

• Ensure effective utilization of project resources.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting.
• Communicate project risks, issues, and key decisions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project communications.

Planning & Business Alignment

• Gather and interpret:
• Voice of Customer (VOC)
• Voice of Business (VOB)
• Critical Customer Requirements (CCR)
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project plans.
• Align project outcomes with business goals and evolving priorities.
• Support continuous improvement of project management practices.
