Job summary

Vrsit Smart Solutions is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Network Security Engineer for client-site assignments in Dubai, UAE, with recruitment and initial hiring from Hyderabad, India. Candidates must relocate to Dubai and work onsite at the client location.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, immediate joiners preferred, and will involve managing internal IT systems, GCC projects, AMC support, and a range of networking and security tasks including FortiGate SSL VPN and Site-to-Site IPsec

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in networking, switching, wireless, firewalls, routing, and VPN troubleshooting in live production environments.
• Practical knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, AWS, virtualization, cloud storage, backup, and endpoint security.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple client environments.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Diploma in IT, CS, Networking or related field.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot network devices and VLANs across LAN/WAN environments.
• Manage FortiGate firewalls, VPNs (SSL VPN, Site-to-Site IPsec), and SD-WAN/high-availability setups.
• Administer Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, file services, RDP, and RDS licensing.
• Manage VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, servers, NAS/SAN, and backups.
• Administer AWS EC2/VPC, security groups, IAM, and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, MFA, CA, and email migrations.
• Configure endpoint security tools (Fortinet, Bitdefender, ESET) and ransomware protection.
• Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Security Engineer to manage internal IT systems, client projects, and AMC support across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, UniFi, TP-Link, and D-Link switches, wireless access points, VLANs, routing, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Manage FortiGate firewalls (40F/60F/80F), ISP connections, Multi-WAN, SD-WAN, HA, firewall policies, NAT, SSL VPN, and Site-to-Site IPsec VPN.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file servers, RDP, and RDS licensing.
• Manage VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, physical servers, NAS/SAN storage, and RAID.
• Administer AWS EC2, VPC, security groups, EBS, S3, IAM, cloud infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, email migrations, email DNS records, and email security.
• Configure and maintain Acronis backups, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, ESET, endpoint security, and ransomware protection.
• Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, preventive maintenance, incident management, and technical documentation.
• Handle client projects, AMC support, internal IT infrastructure, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and ISPs.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in networking, switching, wireless, firewalls, routing, and VPN troubleshooting in live production environments.
• Practical knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, AWS, virtualization, cloud storage, backup, and endpoint security.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple client environments.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4 or equivalent, Microsoft Server, Microsoft 365, or Azure certifications.

Note: Candidates must have strong practical FortiGate SSL VPN and Site-to-Site IPsec VPN configuration and troubleshooting experience. Theoretical knowledge alone is insufficient.
