Job summary

Experis Austria is seeking an IT Infrastructure Architect in Pune with 10+ years of hands-on experience. You will design scalable, secure data centers, evaluate new technologies, and lead PoCs to optimize compute, storage and networking across hybrid environments.

You will ensure DR/HA resilience, align with ITIL/ITSM processes, and drive architectural governance for enterprise workloads, collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture / Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows / Linux, virtualization, VMware / Hyper-V / Nutanix or equivalent HCI, Compute and Storage, Data Center architecture.
• Experienced in Backup and DR, Enterprise Networking and Cloud Infrastructure with secure design principles.
• Understanding of Azure and/or AWS architecture, infrastructure security, HA/DR, and lifecycle management.
• Familiar with ITIL / ITSM processes and operational governance.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture / Enterprise Infrastructure.

Technical Skills / Competencies

• Strong experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture / Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows / Linux, virtualization, VMware / Hyper-V / Nutanix or equivalent HCI, Compute and Storage, Data Center architecture, Backup and DR, Enterprise Networking, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Azure and/or AWS architecture.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security principles.
• Experience in designing HA, DR, and resilient infrastructure.
• Experience in technology assessment, PoC, and solution evaluation.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and operational processes.

Preferred / Good to Have

• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
• Azure / AWS Architecture certification.
• Nutanix / VMware certification.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience with FinOps / Cloud Cost Optimization.
• Experience with Zero Trust / ZTNA architecture.
