Job Title: IT Support Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, and other business applications.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, password resets, and system permissions.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software and applications.
• Maintain proper records of IT assets, hardware allocation, software licenses, and inventory.
• Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for hardware repairs, AMC, internet, and other IT services.
• Ensure timely resolution and tracking of IT support tickets and user requests.
• Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding, including laptop allocation, email/account creation, access provisioning, and asset recovery.
• Implement and maintain basic IT security practices, including antivirus, system updates, access controls, and data security.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support backup, system maintenance, and other IT operational activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or IT Helpdesk.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IT asset and inventory management.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple support requests and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with any ticketing/ITSM tool will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Immediate Joiner or candidates who can join within 0–15 days.
• Candidates currently based in or willing to work from Gurgaon.
