Job summary

Lam Research in Bengaluru, India, seeks a seasoned ServiceNow Architect to lead architecture, governance, and platform evolution across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM. You will guide CMDB/CSDM design, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data quality, while shaping enterprise integrations and asset management strategies.

You will mentor teams and collaborate with global stakeholders in a hybrid work model, driving best-practice implementations and platform excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience.
• 10+ years on the ServiceNow platform.
• 4+ years as a ServiceNow Architect or Solution Architect.
• Deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
• Strong CMDB, CSDM, Discovery and Service Mapping knowledge.
• Experience establishing platform governance and architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain ServiceNow platform architecture standards and governance.
• Lead architecture reviews for platform enhancements and integrations.
• Drive ITSM design and optimization (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog).
• Lead ITOM solutions including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Oversee IT Asset Management with HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
• Architect and govern enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Servers and OAuth.
• Mentor developers and promote best practices across teams and partners.
• Collaborate in a hybrid environment with global stakeholders.

The impact you’ll make

In this role, you will directly contribute to the strategy, scalability, and evolution of Lam Research's ServiceNow platform. You will lead architecture and governance efforts across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM, enabling efficient IT operations, automation, asset management, and enterprise service delivery while driving platform excellence and innovation.

What you’ll do

• Define and maintain ServiceNow platform architecture standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks to ensure scalable, secure, and upgrade-ready solutions.


• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight for platform enhancements, integrations, and custom applications.


• Drive the design and optimization of ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog processes, aligned with ITIL best practices.


• Provide technical leadership for ITOM solutions including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management while ensuring data quality and CSDM alignment.


• Architect and govern IT Asset Management solutions, including HAM Pro and SAM Pro, supporting asset lifecycle management and software compliance initiatives.


• Design and oversee enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Servers, OAuth, and related ServiceNow technologies.


• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across internal teams and implementation partners to promote best practices and continuous platform improvement.


• Work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global stakeholders across multiple geographies and business functions.

Who we’re looking for

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.


• 10+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.


• 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect or Solution Architect.


• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.


• Strong experience with CMDB architecture, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.


• Experience establishing platform governance, architecture standards, and review processes for enterprise-scale environments.


• Strong knowledge of Integration Hub, Flow Designer, MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integrations.

Preferred qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).


• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).


• CIS certifications in ITSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, HAM, and SAM.


• ITIL v4 certification.


• Experience supporting large global ServiceNow environments and multi-partner delivery models

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
