Job summary

Qualifications

The impact you'll make

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Lead to join our dynamic team. The InfrastructureLead will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructurewithin Microsoft Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, andbest practices in cloud security, governance, and operations. In addition to providing technical leadership, theInfrastructure Lead will be expected to perform hands-on work to support the team’s capacity.

What you'll do

Leadership and Strategy

• Lead the Infrastructure team in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain the cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvementand innovation.

Hands-On Cloud Architecture and Management

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azureservices.
• Perform hands‑on work in provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud resources, including virtual machines,containers, and serverless functions.
• Oversee the orchestration of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions to meet business requirements.
• Manage cloud resources, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and support.

Governance and Security

• Implement and enforce cloud governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.
• Manage identity and access management, including role‑based access control (RBAC) and multi‑factorauthentication (MFA).
• Oversee security measures, including encryption, key management, and vulnerability assessments.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (BCDR) strategies are in place and tested regularly.
• Implement cost management and optimization strategies to ensure efficient use of cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for infrastructure management and incidentresponse.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamlessintegration and operation of cloud services.

Who we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Hands‑on experience in provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud resources.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree

Preferred qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools (e.g., ARM templates,Terraform, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in networking, storage, and compute services within Azure.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
• Familiarity with security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Certifications
