SAP is seeking an IT Business Services Senior Consultant - Technical Landscape Owner to lead operations for a multi-system SAP landscape in a private cloud model. You will own technical readiness, coordinate with Release Management, and drive high availability and continuous improvement across SAP environments.

The role requires deep SAP knowledge, strong communication, and flexibility for weekend/on-call support during critical escalations or go-lives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Mathematics or comparable.
• Background in SAP technology with knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Administration and Operations.

IT Business Services Senior Consultant - Technical Landscape Owner

What you will do

One of SAP’s strategic customers has conducted a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest SAP HANA-based systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption as the customer is at the start of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of customer landscape from technical and business perspectives including its interfaces
• Strong collaboration with the customer for planning and operations
• Align on upcoming changes with the Release Management and plan the execution accordingly
• Ensure high availability of customer service by supporting service restoration in critical situations and working proactively on the stability of the landscape
• Analyse and deep dive into issues including the creation of RCAs as the foundation for continuous improvement
• Support productization of services including, if required initial setup, documentation, and standardization
• Align on planning activities and system build processes, define Handover criteria, and ensure operational readiness of the Operations team as a pre-condition for any customer GoLive

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Mathematics or comparable
• Background in SAP technology and products with excellent knowledge in SAP NetWeaver Administration and Operations and cross-dependencies like integration
• Knowledge of the whole technology stack (Application, Database, Server management) and the ability to assess issues and system architectures
• Experience in operation of systems installations is a must
• Ability to own and coordinate operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements
• Competency to take critical decisions and working under high pressure
• Be a team player and able to inspire and energize team with strong technical, verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work on weekends/off hours during critical customer escalations, cut-overs or go-lives.
• 9 - 13+years of experience as SAP Basis consultant / System Admin or in a similar role
• Fluent in English language is a must, German language skills are beneficial
