Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India seeks an IT Application Owner to manage end-to-end governance for critical applications. You will oversee compliance, audits, DR testing and vendor relationships, while coordinating with business stakeholders and deployment teams.

With 10+ years in IT and ITIL basics, you will guide technical roadmaps, access controls, and security collaboration to ensure reliable production services.

Qualifications

• Total 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5-6 years in a similar role or application management.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management; ITIL experience is a plus.
• Experience in Risk, IT Run the Bank and Support domains.
• Background in Java/Cobol, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Linux.

Responsibilities

• Maintain availability, stability, and performance of the application in prod and test.
• Ensure policy compliance and governance for owned applications.
• Plan/Conduct DR tests and participate in audits to avoid delays.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for enhancements and deployments with teams.
• Collaborate with Service Operation/L2 on application expertise; manage licenses and contracts.
• Vendor management for app-related service providers; change and access management.
• Maintain knowledge base and mentor the team; manage the application roadmap and deliverables.

ITAO is an expert with an in-depth functional- and technical knowledge of his application.The role's key responsibility is End to end application IT Governance in line with Bank’s policies, procedures and standards. Hands-on ITIL experience is a Plus.Experience in working in Risk, IT Run the Bank and Support domains.Basic Technical capabilities and infrastructure knowledge (background in Java/Cobol, Oracle database, PL/SQL, Linux)Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.Good to haveSome technical background required, experience in Java/Cobol with knowledge of web- and application- servers is a plus.Basic Understanding of Automated Deployment & CI: GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Teamcity etcSome experience on Google Cloud is desirable but not mandatory (On Job Learning)Experience of working together with Agile/Scrum teams and their methods and tooling.
