Job summary

Uplight in Pune, India is seeking an IT Analyst II to help drive our clean energy mission. You will monitor and optimize company-wide systems, supporting uninterrupted operations for our teams.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify new tools, maintain network health, and support security/compliance. The role emphasizes learning, problem solving, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience in a corporate office environment
• Degree in a technical field, boot camp or multiple certifications (Cisco/Meraki CCNA, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Google Workspace Administrator, JumpCloud Administrator)
• Strong knowledge of IT functional areas and concepts (networks, systems, etc)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Basic scripting skills (bash, powershell, etc)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of company-wide systems to keep users functional and focused on our mission
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify and integrate new tools while maximizing existing solutions
• Maintaining network health across offices, preparing for backup and disaster recovery
• Serving as a resource for ongoing learning with IT Support team and escalation point as needed
• Partnering with Security on compliance and audit

How you will make an impact

• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Uplight’s company-wide systems to keep Uplighters functional and focused on our mission
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify and integrate new tools while also maximizing the functionality of existing solutions.
• Maintaining network health across offices, preparing for backup and disaster recovery
• Serving as a resource for ongoing learning with IT Support team as well as an escalation point as needed
• Partnering with Security on compliance and audit

What you bring to Uplight

• 5+ years IT experience in a corporate office environment, plus experience in system administration in at least one system
• Degree in a technical field, boot camp or multiple certifications (Cisco/Meraki CCNA, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Google Workspace Administrator, JumpCloud Administrator)
• Strong knowledge of IT functional areas and concepts (networks, systems, etc)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Basic scripting skills (bash, powershell, etc)

Bonus points

• Familiarity with Torii, FreshService, Atlassian, AWS, and Github is a plus

Qualifications
