About the Role

Platform Development Team – build user‑friendly, responsive interfaces. The Architect should have a team‑first mentality and create Architecture / High‑Level technical design documents, helping other team members improve delivery success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Lead the design and development of full‑stack web applications.
• Have deep knowledge of Angular (v8‑v17) core framework, internal processing and lifecycle.
• Debug front‑end/Angular issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Design, build and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide Tech Leads and developers through code reviews and technical sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Ensure application performance, scalability and security.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
• Participate in Sprint/PI planning and provide estimates for scope of work.
• Create technical documentation in code per coding standards and assist in documentation for product customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of development and architecture experience.
• Ability to code/develop PoCs and conduct research when needed.
• Experience developing applications that interact with RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrated experience in microservices architecture.
• Experience with front‑end development, especially Angular.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, CloudWatch and IAM.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Performance tuning & profiling – Visual VM, JMeter, Lighthouse.

Front–End Skills

• Micro‑frontend architecture.
• Responsive web design.
• Angular (v8‑v17) core framework, lifecycle and internal processing.
• Debugging and performance optimisation.
• Monitoring with Lighthouse and console debugging.

Database

• Relational databases – Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2.

Cloud Platform, Deployment and DevOps

• DevOps – Docker, SonarQube, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform.
