Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an IT Administrator (macOS & JumpCloud Specialist) to own our internal IT infrastructure, asset lifecycle, and ensure secure, uninterrupted access for the team.

You will manage JumpCloud, ABM enrollment, Google Workspace, and the macOS fleet; coordinate HR onboarding/offboarding assets; and oversee network and endpoint security across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of dedicated experience in IT Administration or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing JumpCloud for macOS devices.
• Strong knowledge of macOS, ABM, DEP, and Apple device enrollment.
• Proficient in Google Workspace administration.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Proactive problem-solving and asset management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the asset management module and track hardware assets from procurement to disposal.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive IT Administrator to take complete ownership of our internal IT infrastructure and asset management lifecycle. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our team has seamless, secure, and uninterrupted access to the tools they need.

Our ecosystem is built on a macOS-based fleet, using JumpCloud as our core Directory Service and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, alongside Google Workspace. Key Responsibilities

• Keka Asset Management Ownership: Take full administrative ownership of the Keka asset management module. Track, tag, and log all hardware assets (MacBooks, monitors, peripherals) from procurement through disposal, ensuring the Keka ledger remains the absolute source of truth for inventory.
• Inventory Auditing & Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical and digital IT audits to reconcile Keka’s asset registry against active systems in JumpCloud. Cross-verify that device assignments in Keka perfectly match live machine deployment and system insights.
• HR-IT Lifecycle Integration: Partner closely with HR to streamline tech onboarding and offboarding pipelines. Ensure Keka automated triggers for asset allocation on Day 1 and physical asset recovery during exit clearances are executed flawlessly.
• MDM & Identity Management: Own the JumpCloud architecture. Handle user provisioning/deprovisioning, enforce security policies, manage system insights, and deploy software configurations remotely across the fleet.
• macOS Fleet Management: Act as the primary expert for all MacBook-related technical support, ensuring all hardware is optimized, secure, and properly enrolled via Apple Business Manager (ABM) into JumpCloud.
• Google Workspace Administration: Manage the complete Google Suite environment, including user accounts, shared drives, security groups, email retention policies, and third-party app integrations.
• Network & Infrastructure Support: Maintain and troubleshoot local office network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and ISP coordinates) to ensure zero downtime.
• Endpoint Security: Implement and enforce robust security protocols (Endpoint security, MFA, password policies, and access controls) across all endpoints and cloud applications to safeguard company data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience in IT Administration, System Administration, or a similar role, ideally within a high-growth startup or tech-driven organization.
• MDM Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience configuring and managing JumpCloud for macOS devices.
• OS Specialty: Deep technical knowledge of macOS hardware and software troubleshooting. Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Device Enrolment Program (DEP) is required.
• Cloud Productivity Platforms: Strong administrative knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite).
• Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and basic office network architecture.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive approach to keeping physical tracking and digital systems perfectly synchronized.
