Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking a seasoned Quality Issue Manager to oversee cross-functional issue management across the product lifecycle. You will identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues, drive corrective actions, and report progress to leadership.

The role emphasizes risk management, dashboards, and audits of manufacturing and supplier sites to ensure robust preventive actions and timely escalation when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related discipline.
  • Experience with automotive product development and manufacturing quality.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools: 8D, 5 Why, DFMEA, QFD, SPC, Seven QC Tools.
  • Experience with supplier quality processes and manufacturing quality systems.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead issue management across product development phases from design to post-launch.
  • Coordinate identification, tracking, and resolution of quality issues.
  • Drive technical risk assessment and timely resolution of anomalies.
  • Participate in cross-functional quality reviews and translate issues into action plans.
  • Develop and maintain issue dashboards, status reports, and management summaries.
  • Monitor progress and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to hit milestones.
  • Conduct audits at manufacturing facilities and supplier locations to verify corrective actions.
  • Validate effectiveness of corrective actions through follow-up reviews.
  • Escalate critical concerns to project leadership when required.
  • Support build events and production readiness with timely closure of concerns.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions using quality methodologies.
  • Promote lessons learned and continuous improvement to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and governance.
  • Prioritize activities and coordinate stakeholders to meet timelines.

Job description

Lead issue management activities across the product development lifecycle by coordinating cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve quality issues. Ensure timely closure of technical risks and anomalies while driving corrective actions, monitoring effectiveness, and supporting continuous quality improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead issue management activities across product development phases, from design and development through production launch and post-launch support.
  • Coordinate identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution of product and process quality issues.
  • Drive technical risk assessment and ensure timely resolution of design, manufacturing, and quality-related anomalies.
  • Participate in cross-functional quality reviews to understand customer-reported issues and translate them into actionable improvement plans.
  • Develop and maintain issue management dashboards, status reports, and management summaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
  • Monitor issue resolution progress and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve project quality milestones.
  • Conduct audits at manufacturing facilities and supplier locations to verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Validate robustness and sustainability of corrective actions through follow-up reviews and effectiveness checks.
  • Escalate critical quality concerns, unresolved issues, and project risks to project leadership when required.
  • Support build events and production readiness by ensuring timely closure of quality concerns before key project milestones.
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving sessions using industry-standard quality methodologies.
  • Promote lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence of similar issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, processes, and project governance requirements.
  • Independently prioritize activities, manage issue resolution plans, and coordinate stakeholders to achieve project objectives within defined timelines
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Production Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience in issue management, quality assurance, and cross-functional problem resolution.

  • Understanding of supplier quality processes and manufacturing quality systems.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
