nVent is seeking an ISC Data Analyst to transform procurement and supply chain data into actionable insights. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, perform SQL-based data extraction and validation, and analyze data for trends and risks.

You will partner with Data Governance, Sourcing, and business teams to ensure data quality and clear reporting. Strong Excel and ERP data experience are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in analytics, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, or BI/finance analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Experience with ERP, supply chain, or procurement data.
• Proficiency with Excel, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with data quality tools and MDM preferred.

What You Will Do

As an ISC Data Analyst, you will turn procurement and supply chain data into meaningful insights that help teams make better business decisions. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Use SQL to extract, combine, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources. Analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, savings opportunities, and performance insights. Support reporting on suppliers, categories, inventory, warehouses, and procurement performance. Check data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and help improve data quality. Translate business requirements and KPIs into practical dashboards and reports. Partner with Data Governance, Sourcing, and business teams. Document data sources, reporting logic, and analytical processes. Support ad hoc analysis and special sourcing projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, business intelligence, finance analytics, or a related area.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Experience working with ERP, supply chain, or procurement data.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar SQL-based data platforms is valuable.
• Exposure to Tableau, Sievo, iValua, SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with Master Data Management and data-quality tools, including Informatica or similar solutions, is preferred.
• Experience with Jira or similar project-tracking tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data-quality mindset.

Additional Role Context

As a Data Analyst on the Global Supply Data group within the Digital organization, you will deliver data assets, analytics and dashboards to support our International Supply Chain stakeholders. In this role you will create standard supply chain data assets and build visualizations and dashboards with those assets. nVent’s Supply Chain organization is continually working to improve its data and reporting capabilities. This role will play an important part in supporting Supply Chain projects that depend on high-quality data.
