Deutsche Bank AG in Mumbai invites applications for an IS Control Governance Specialist (Associate). You will develop and maintain the Information Security Risk control objectives, align with procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory mandates.

You will perform gap analyses, evaluate control adequacy, and execute governance activities with clear justification. Strong knowledge of information security standards and ability to leverage AI tools to improve processes are expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with information security industry best practices and standards (e.g., ISO27000, NIST, CRI Profile).
• Proven experience in performing gap analyses.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying ethical data use.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update Information Security Risk-related Control Objective set in line with procedures.
• Carry out gap assessments on coverage and adequacy of Control Objectives against regulatory mandates.
• Evaluate adequacy of underlying control sets supporting the Control Objectives.
• Execute Control Governance activities (review/approve/reject control records with justification).

Job Title: IS Control Governance Specialist Corporate Title: Associate Location: Mumbai, India Role Description Information Security is responsible for preventing IT-based crime, hacking, intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction to the organization's information systems and IT assets and intellectual property. The focus of the role is to ensure highly professional and productive procedures, policies and processes are in place, and aligned and agreed with relevant stakeholders. Roles within Information Security may cover one or more areas of speciality.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update the Information Security Risk related Control Objective set in alignment with the respective procedures
• Carry out a gap assessment on coverage and adequacy of assigned Control Objectives against provided regulatory mandates
• Evaluate adequacy of underlying control set that is supporting the fulfillment of assigned Control Objectives
• Execute Control Governance specific activities as defined by the respective operating documents, e.g. review, approval, rejection of control records with provided justification

Your skills and experience

• Familiarity with Information Security relevant industry best practices and/or standards e.g. ISO27000, NIST, CRI Profile
• Proven experience in executing gap analysis.
