Job summary

Deutsche Bank invites applications for the role of Control Owner in the Chief Security Office at Pune. The role is accountable for end-to-end control design, maintenance and continuous improvement in line with control objectives and information security requirements.

You will oversee design definitions, attestations, and indicators, while coordinating with stakeholders and agile teams to ensure timely delivery and risk mitigation across the bank's assets and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Control Owner, preferably on a cyber security product in banking.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and related collaboration tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, amend and retire control definitions aligned with objectives.
• Outline risks addressed by controls and address gaps.
• Define control indicators and thresholds for testing.
• Assess design effectiveness and provide evidence for testing.
• Accountable for design changes, maintenance, monitoring and remediation.

Your key responsibilities

• Creating amending and retiring control definitions in line with the control objectives
• Outlining the risks addressed by the control definitions and addressing any identified gaps or deficiencies with the control definitions
• Defining control indicators and metrics and setting the criteria and thresholds of metrics before they are tested
• Assessing design effectiveness as part of control assessment and providing input and evidence to the design effectiveness testing process
• Accountable for design changes maintenance monitoring and remediation

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
• Related certifications achievement in cyber security would give an advantage
• Proven experience 5 years in Control Owner role preferably on a cyber security product in Banking industry
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization
• Experience working in Agile methodologies e g Scrum Kanban and related collaboration tools e g Jira Confluence with a clear delivery focus
