Job summary

Terna Trust is seeking a experienced Financial Counsellor to support hospital patients with treatment estimates, billing, and insurance coverage. The role requires hands-on billing expertise across IP, TPA, CGHS, and cash billing, plus strong communication to resolve queries and coordinate with insurers, doctors, and patients.

Candidates should have hospital industry experience and a healthcare or hospital administration background; Graduate in any discipline is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have hospital industry experience.
• Expertise in Financial Counsellor, IP Billing, TPA Billing, CGHS Billing, and Cash Billing.
• Hands-on experience in insurance claim processing and claim documentation.
• Strong knowledge of cashless and reimbursement claim procedures.
• Experience in patient counselling regarding treatment estimates, billing, insurance coverage, and financial assistance.
• Ability to coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, doctors, and patients.
• Knowledge of hospital billing software and healthcare regulations.
• Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve billing and insurance-related queries efficiently.
• Graduate in any discipline; healthcare/hospital administration background preferred.
