Job summary

THERMAX is seeking a proficient Engineer to install and operationalize RPMS boiler analytics. You will coordinate with the sales team to collect boiler data for prospective RPMS customers and support value delivery for connected boilers.

The role involves troubleshooting, RCA, and training customers and service engineers on RPMS adoption to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Process Engineering to enhance the RPMS platform and prepare monthly reports detailing observations

Qualifications

• Experience with boilers and fuels.
• Familiar with troubleshooting boilers (solid/oil/gas).
• Ability to analyze AFBC/CFBC/TG-type boilers.
• Proficient in boiler efficiency calculations.

Responsibilities

• RCA of issues and development of RPMS modules to address customer issues.

• Drive diagnostic studies and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare monthly operation and maintenance reports for connected sites.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Installation and operationalization of RPMS (Boiler analytics) system
• Coordinate with sales team to collect boiler data for prospective RPMS customers & Support sales team for potential analysis.
• Active analysis & support in value delivery for connected boilers for Value-Linked deals. Has ability to study the operation data in THERMAX Driven EDGE LIVE system and capability to fine tune the operation parameters of boiler to achieve optimized output so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Closely coordinate with customer for their day-to-day challenges & issues faced; RCA of issues and development of RPMS modules to address those issues
• Support in customer escalations wherever customer-side dependencies are pending
• Guidance of any functional changes to solution required basis issues from customers
• Train-the-Trainer for Service Engineers & customer team for adoption of RPMS system
• Attending of Expert calls as requested from customer
• Drive diagnostic studies & determine potential for improvement
• RCA for Critical Tickets raised by customers
• Conduct User training on RPMS system
• Work closely with Process Engineering teams to enhance and improve the boiler analytics (RPMS) platform
• Preparation of monthly reports comprising operation & maintenance observations, Improvements & recommendations for connected sites.
• Has hands on working experience in MS office such as MS excel & MS Power point presentations.

Desirable Experience/Skills:

• Experience of working on Boilers, Heaters with various combustors & fuels.
• Familiar in troubleshooting of any of boilers (Solid / Oil & Gas).
• Particularly Familiar in Trouble shooting and analyse the operation of AFBC, CFBC, TG type solid fuel boilers.
• Proficiency in calculating boiler indirect & direct efficiency calculations.
