Job summary

Coreehs is seeking an IoT Software Engineer to design and deliver Industrial Safety IoT applications that connect safety sensors, wearables, and equipment to cloud platforms for analytics and risk management.

You will partner with safety experts, hardware engineers, and data scientists to build scalable, secure IoT solutions for challenging industrial environments, focusing on real-time data processing, security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IoT, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on IoT software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Java for embedded and app layers.
• Experience with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
• Familiarity with industrial IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, LoRaWAN).
• Strong grasp of real-time data processing, APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience in data visualization tools (Grafana, Power BI).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IoT in industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy IoT-based safety solutions (gas leak detection, PPE compliance, fall detection, machine monitoring).
• Integrate safety sensors, wearables, and smart devices with gateways and cloud platforms.
• Work on industrial IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, BACnet, LoRaWAN, Zigbee).
• Build real-time monitoring dashboards for safety observations and predictive analytics.
• Implement edge computing solutions for local decision-making and alerts.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and regulatory compliance (Factories Act, OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with safety management systems (incident reporting, audit trails, compliance software).
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance optimization in harsh industrial environments.
