Inviting applications for the role of Manager/Senior Manager, Invoice to Cash

In this role, the AR Senior Manager leads the end‑to‑end accounts receivable function to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, strong cash flow, and robust credit risk management. This role owns AR policies, drives process improvements, partners with Sales and Operations to resolve customer issues, and ensures compliance with internal controls and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the complete AR lifecycle: customer onboarding (finance perspective), credit review, billing/invoicing, cash application, collections, disputes/deductions, and write‑offs.
• Lead, coach, and develop the AR team; set goals, monitor performance, and build a high‑accountability operating rhythm.
• Drive collections strategy to reduce overdue balances; oversee escalation paths and negotiate payment plans where required.
• Partner with Sales/Customer Success/Operations to resolve billing and service issues that impact collections; ensure timely dispute resolution.
• Establish and maintain credit policies, customer credit limits, and periodic credit risk reviews; recommend holds/releases and mitigation actions.
• Ensure accurate cash application and reconciliation of AR sub‑ledger to the general ledger; investigate variances and ensure clean month‑end close.
• Prepare AR reporting and dashboards (aging, DSO, collections forecast, bad debt exposure, dispute metrics) and present insights to leadership.
• Support revenue‑related processes: billing accuracy, contract/pricing validation inputs, and coordination with Revenue Accounting where applicable.
• Own AR‑related internal controls and SOPs; ensure compliance with audit requirements and segregation of duties.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (process redesign, automation, standardization) to improve customer experience, speed, and accuracy.
• Oversee third‑party collection agencies where used; manage performance, compliance, and cost.
• Maintain strong stakeholder management and customer communication, protecting the company relationship while improving cash conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; MBA/CA/CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable/Order‑to‑Cash, along with people management role.
• Strong understanding of AR accounting, reconciliations, and internal controls; experience with audits preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and AR automation tools.
• Proven track record of improving DSO, reducing overdue AR, and strengthening collections effectiveness.
