RocSearch Limited in India seeks a senior leader to manage and deliver high‑quality research services to global clients in the M&A and advisory space. You will oversee the Investment Research team, drive multi-project delivery, and deepen client engagements while aligning with firm strategy.

The ideal candidate has an MBA from a top Indian B-School, 10–14 years in M&A Research & Advisory with 4+ years in leadership, strong quantitative skills, and excellent communication.

Job description

• Manage and deliver high quality research services to global clients. This includes understanding project specifications, overseeing deliverable preparation and extensive client engagement
• Develop and maintain relationship with global clients and leverage the relationship to win more business. Technical expertise would be preferred in the following areas: Opportunity Identification, Target and Buyer Identification, Commercial Due Diligence, Financial & Operations Modelling, Company Valuation, Portfolio Value Creation, Thematic Research, Equity Research and Fixed Income, Credit & Currency Research
• Contribute to firm-level responsibilities such as knowledge management, training, recruitment and selection, internal process development, expanding business capabilities and leading other organisation improvement initiatives
• Manage professional development, coaching and evaluation of the Investment Research team members
• Demonstrate thought leadership and represent the firm in appropriate industry forums

Candidate profile:

• MBA from leading Indian B-Schools (preferably IIMs or other tier 1 institutes)
• 10-14 years of experience in M&A Research & Advisory with at least 4 years in managing teams, leading projects and handling Equity Research/ Private Equity/ Thematic Research / Corporate Finance clients
• Strong quantitative aptitude and ability to draw inferences from a set of numbers/ financials
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
• Strong business acumen – should be able to correlate market drivers, challenges with impact on client or target companies, should be able to evaluate business risks, etc.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to identify improvement opportunities and ensure successful implementation of suggestions
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS-Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
