Job summary

Michael Page in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned investment banking professional to lead day-to-day execution of private capital raising mandates across growth equity, minority investments, strategic capital and related structures.

You will develop investor positioning, prepare investment memoranda and presentations, coordinate diligence, and support term sheet discussions with senior bankers, contributing to a high-ownership, India-focused advisory franchise.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in investment banking, private capital markets, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, placement advisory, corporate finance or transactions.
• Demonstrated experience on private fundraising mandates, minority / growth capital raises, sponsor-led transactions, secondary processes or structured equity solutions.
• Strong understanding of private capital markets including investor universe mapping, fund strategy, investment committee requirements, diligence expectations and deal process management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of private capital raising mandates across growth equity, minority investments, strategic capital, pre-IPO capital, secondary liquidity and selected structured transactions.
• Develop investor positioning, equity story, use-of-proceeds narrative, valuation framework, capital structure considerations and process strategy.
• Manage investor outreach materials including teasers, investment memoranda, investor presentations, Q&A packs, diligence trackers and management meeting preparation.
• Coordinate investor diligence, data room workflows, follow-up requests, commercial diligence inputs and transaction process updates.
• Support term sheet evaluation, investor feedback synthesis, valuation discussions and negotiation preparation with senior bankers.
