Job summary

Responsibilities

• Inventory Planning and Demand Forecasting: Build and maintain inventory plans aligned with sales targets, seasonality and business priorities.
• Purchase Planning and Vendor Coordination: Prepare purchase plans based on demand forecasts and current stock position; coordinate with vendors on timelines and delivery.
• Stock Accuracy, Audits and Shrinkage Control: Ensure accurate stock records across all locations; conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
• Franchise and Omnichannel Inventory Governance: Set and enforce inventory policies for franchise stores; ensure stock visibility across retail, online and franchise channels.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and manage the centralized inventory team; report metrics to senior management.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Inventory Head to lead inventory management across our retail,
omnichannel and franchise (FOFO) network. The role owns inventory planning, stock accuracy and governance, and
leads a centralized inventory team to ensure the right stock is available at the right place and time.

Key Responsibilities :

Inventory Planning and Demand Forecasting :

• Build and maintain inventory plans aligned with sales targets, seasonality and business priorities.
• Forecast demand by store, channel and category, and review forecast accuracy regularly.
• Define stock levels, replenishment norms and inter-store transfer plans.

Purchase Planning and Vendor Coordination

• Prepare purchase plans based on demand forecasts and current stock position.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on timelines, availability and delivery.
• Track open orders, lead times and vendor performance.

Stock Accuracy, Audits and Shrinkage Control

• Ensure accurate stock records across all locations.
• Plan and conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
• Identify gaps and implement controls to reduce shrinkage and losses.

Franchise and Omnichannel Inventory Governance

• Set and enforce inventory policies and processes for franchise (FOFO) stores.
• Ensure consistent stock visibility and availability across retail, online and franchise channels.
• Monitor compliance and resolve discrepancies with franchise partners.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor and manage the centralized inventory team.
  Set clear targets, review performance and drive accountability.
• Report inventory metrics and insights to senior management.
