Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct stock audits, cycle counts, and maintain data accuracy.
• Prepare MIS reports and analyze stock movements for insights.

Job Summary :- Tent Studio is seeking a proactive Inventory Executive to streamline inventory operations, ensure efficient stock management, and maintain data accuracy. The role demands active collaboration with procurement, sales, and branch teams, ensuring timely stock replenishment and compliance with internal procedures. The position also involves inventory audits, MIS reporting, and oversight of branch stock levels to meet business demands efficiently.

1 Inventory Planning and Stock Replenishment:

• a) Conduct regular assessments of inventory needs and monitor stock levels at warehouse and branch levels.
• b) Ensure timely refilling of branch stock based on Minimum Stock Level (MSL) guidelines.
• c) Execute Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF) and initiate Purchase Indents (PI) for stock procurement.
• d) Plan and ensure on-time dispatch of inventory to branches to avoid stockouts.
• e) Analyze sales trends and market demand in collaboration with the sales team to forecast future inventory needs.

2 Cross-functional Coordination:

• a) Collaborate with the procurement team for timely and cost-effective purchases.
• b) Work closely with branch managers for inventory dispatch, stock transfer approvals, and monitoring.
• c) Align inventory availability with sales promotions and campaigns through coordination with the sales team.
• d) Ensure coordination with stitching and production teams to address stock or supply chain gaps.

3 Inventory Policy Enforcement and Data Accuracy:

• a) Implement inventory management policies, SOPs, and ensure compliance across branches and warehouses.
• b) Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and variance reporting.
• c) Oversee and validate accurate data entry for inventory transactions and maintain updated records.
• d) Optimize resource utilization to minimize wastage and improve inventory accuracy.

4 Reporting and Metrics Analysis:

• a) Prepare and present periodic MIS reports with detailed inventory metrics.
• b) Track branch performance based on stock movements, and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
• c) Generate actionable insights from cycle counts, sales patterns, and stock audit findings.

5 Compliance and Industry Trends:

• a) Ensure adherence to all legal regulations and company standards in inventory operations.
• b) Stay updated with industry trends and implement innovative methods to enhance inventory management.
