Responsibilities

• Managing inventory and conducting regular inventory cycle counts; resolving stock discrepancies.
• Analyzing inventory data to improve efficiency and tracking consumption against production orders.
• Tracking open production orders and publishing reports with detailed analysis; coordinating with production and planners.
• Coordinating with warehouse to maintain system transactions on time and resolve stock mismatches.
• Maintaining inventory databases and dashboards for accurate inventory management.
• Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly inventory counts and audits.

Job Description

• The role of an inventory analyst encompasses various responsibilities, including managing inventory, conduct regular inventory cycle counts and resolve any stock discrepancies
• Analyzing inventory data to enhance efficiency and tracking proper inventory consumption against production order
• Track open production order on regular basis, publish the report with detail analysis, co-ordinate with production team & work closely with Planner to close the order on time
• Co-ordinate with warehouse team to maintain system transaction on time, resolve stock mismatch issues
• Coordinating withother stakeholders like Production, planning, warehouse, purchasing team to resolve discrepancies between inventories
• Creating and maintaining inventory databases, generate dashboardsand systems for accurately managing inventory
• Prepare WIP DII report & maintain WIP DII in lower side
• Actively drive monthly, quarterly & yearly inventory taking activities as well as handle the inventory audit
• Prepare BOM consumption data against each production order, identify the gap with detail analysis
• Guide the team & other cross functional team about proper inventory consumption to avoid excess BOM part usage
• Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control

• Awareness about financial term like revenue calculation, profit center, inventory allocation & consumption trend

Other Skill

• Diploma/bachelor's degree in engineering, have minimum experience 4-5 years in Inventory control/Inventory analyst, Production Planning
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. Advance excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), good computer skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and specialized inventory management software
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multi-tasking skills
