Job description

Intertec Software is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Test Engineer to join our development team at our Bangalore office.

Should be able to do test execution on agile or waterfall projects, focusing on the creation and execution of manual test cases. Execute automated test scripts for medium to complex projects.

Responsibilities (Include All Tasks)

• Participate in scrum, daily stand-up, sprint, and iterative development activities.
• Participate in sprint and release planning.
• Participate in backlog refinement.
• Execute practical application of agile framework components.
• Follow acceptance criteria and execute test cases.

For Activities Related to Test Management:

• Understand testing process.
• Follow the testing guidelines while writing test cases and executing tests.
• Follow the assigned task and complete it by the specified deadline.

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• Trained in software testing – ISTQB Foundation certification training completion.
• Trained in one automation scripting language – Java / JavaScript / Python.
• Trained on one automation tool – Cypress / Selenium.

Optional

• ISTQB – Foundation Certification.
