Overview

This is a full-time on-site role of an Architect Intern at Atelier Astil located in the heart of Bangalore opposite the Uloor Lake near M G Road. As an Architecture intern you will assist senior architects in developing design concepts and participate in various phases of projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in developing design concepts.
• Draft and render design ideas using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other software.
• Create and modify technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details under the guidance of licensed architects.
• Produce 3D models to visualize architectural designs and render images for presentation materials.
• Prepare construction documents and assist in detailing for various projects.
• Participate in site visits, take field measurements and record observations for project updates.
• Coordinate between consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical) and assist in research on materials, building codes, and sustainability practices.
• Analyze design precedents, building technologies, and site conditions to support project goals.
• Help in organizing project files, drawings, documentation and prepare documents for permits, zoning, and client approvals.
• Participate in team meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.

Key Skills & Qualifications
