Job summary

Sharp & Tannan Group in Mumbai seeks an experienced internal audit professional to lead engagements, perform risk assessments, and deliver advisory services across clients in Pan India. The role emphasizes strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills with 3–5 years in audit or risk management.

Qualifications

• CA/CA Inter/CIA/CMA/MBA/Post Graduate degree or higher is required.
• Graduation in commerce, management or economics preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in audit/internal control/risk management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule internal audit and advisory engagements.
• Conduct kick-off meetings and follow-ups with clients.
• Perform process walk-throughs and document them.
• Carry out internal audits and risk advisory engagements.
• Review and supervise team members' work.
• Discuss audit observations with clients/auditees.
• Review client documentation, reports and prepare notes.
• Prepare and present reports reflecting audit observations.

Desired Skills

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of fields such as accounting, management, business, law and economics
• Proficiency in MS OAice
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards would be advantageous
• Knowledge of ERP like SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards would be advantageous
• Good documentation and note-taking skills
