TechAlmas LLP in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat seeks a fresh QA tester to join our manual testing team. You will assist senior QA members, develop and execute test cases, and ensure web and mobile apps meet requirements.

You will document defects clearly and retest after fixes, contributing to project reviews and continuous quality improvements. The role emphasizes end-user perspective, basic STLC/SDLC knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualificações

• Freshers or 0–1 year experience in manual testing/QA.
• Basic understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Familiarity with testing types: functional, regression, UI and smoke testing.
• Experience with test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting is a plus.
• Knowledge of issue-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Verify application functionality from an end-user perspective.
• Maintain proper records of test cases, test results, and reported defects.
• Participate in requirement discussions, QA meetings, and project reviews.
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and observations to the QA team and developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Freshers or candidates with 0-1 year of experience in Manual Testing/QA.
• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic knowledge of different types of software testing, including Functional, Regression, UI, and Smoke Testing.
• Basic understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Ability to think from an end-user perspective.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Strong interest in software quality and software testing.
