Job summary

The iScale is seeking a Data Analyst Intern in India to gain hands-on experience by working with seasoned data professionals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and build dashboards using Power BI.

You will write SQL for ETL processes, apply data warehousing concepts, and leverage Python for data wrangling. Strong English communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, math, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Strong passion for data analytics and a proactive learner.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts/dimensions/keys/joins).
• Project experience or certification in SQL, Excel, and Power BI is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Python for data wrangling and automation is an added advantage.
• Exposure to digital data sources like Google Analytics, search engines, email campaigns, and social media.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A strong passion for data analytics and a proactive attitude toward learning.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as facts, dimensions, primary/foreign keys, and joins.
• Project experience or Cerification of SQL, Excel, and Power BI is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Python for data wrangling and automation, including stored procedures is an added advantage.
• Exposure to digital data sources such as Google Analytics, search engines, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
