Job summary

The role focuses on programming for web-based GUIs, testing, and building end-to-end solutions under guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of technical programming.

Responsibilities

• Provides programming of low to moderate complexity for web-based or desktop GUIs, statistical reports, database management programs, including data conditioning and decision-support systems, desktop database publishing and other database marketing applications;
• Develops and executes unit tests and testing automation;
• Develops end-to-end solutions of low to moderate complexity;
• Performs necessary analysis, including development/elaboration of functional specifications, with direction;
• Provides time estimations on proposed application development or enhancement work with review;
• Develops simple and medium complexity level applications from pre-defined specifications and requirements;
• Creates/contributes to technical design documentation for assigned development tasks;
• Creates specifications and defines requirements for small to medium applications and for all application enhancements with assistance;
• Develops supporting application and process documentation for client and internal applications under direction;
• Understands and operates under departmental systems, programming, testing and documentation standards;
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager;
