RTX in Bengaluru is seeking an engineering professional skilled in CAD tools and 3D modeling to support aerospace component development. The role involves reading and creating technical drawings, performing design-for-manufacture analyses, and using Teamcenter/SAP for change management.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and customers, ensuring precise GD&T application and high-quality deliverables across hybrid onsite roles.

Competenze

• Reads and creates technical drawings and sketches.
• Proficient in CAD software (CREO, AutoCAD, Catia, UG) and 2D/3D modeling.
• Knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5 dimensional tolerancing.
• Experience with Teamcenter and SAP PLM systems for change management.

Participate in Engineering Change Management Process – Teamcenter / SAP.

Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, regulatory requirements, and cost.

Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings, sketches.

Create 2D pattern drawing by extracting surface data from 3D models.

Experience on CAD application – CREO 2.0 or above

Proficiency in CAD software (2D) – AutoCAD, Keycreator and other CAD (3D) – Catia, Unigraphics is desired.

Should have knowledge in GD&T (ASME 14.5).

Knowledge on PLM tool – Teamcenter, SAP

Proficiency in Microsoft office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Team player with good interpersonal skills to work with cross functional team from Engineering, Operations and US & Germany customers.

Attention to details to ensure high-quality work for customers.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
