Q2 is seeking an ambitious and adaptable Software Developer with strong hands‑on experience in team‑based development and data‑driven systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Solid experience in web/tool development and backend service development.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI workflows.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and service‑oriented/microservices architectures.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Occasional availability for on‑call/emergency support; ability to work flexible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity across the Q2 platform.
• Develop and maintain both backend services and data processing workflows, including ETL pipelines.
• Deliver reliable solutions in live production systems, working both independently and collaboratively.
• Support and maintain custom features, including debugging, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis, with occasional on‑call availability.
• Apply strong debugging skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and data issues.
• Ensure adherence to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies.
• Contribute to data analysis and model‑driven features, including exploratory data analysis (EDA) and ML integration.
• Collaborate on AI‑powered and agent‑based solutions, leveraging modern LLM frameworks and tooling.
• Assist and mentor teammates by sharing best practices, conducting code reviews, and providing technical guidance.
