Job Summary

• WE are seeking an experienced Interior Engineer specializing in yacht interiors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yacht or ship interior engineering, with at least five years of experience in a similar role or in high-end residential or marine projects. This role involves translating design concepts into fully engineered interior solutions while ensuring compliance with marine regulations, weight optimization, and structural integration requirements.
• The Interior Engineer will contribute to technical innovation in yacht interior design, working with advanced 3D CAD tools (Catia, Rhinoceros 3D) and PLM systems (Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE) to develop detailed engineering models and documentation. A deep understanding of marine materials and their performance in saltwater environments is essential. Knowledge of guidelines and procedures (regulations of classification societies and flag states, safety, quality, and environment). The role requires a structured, project-based approach, someone who has knowledge of the basic principles of the same.

What Will You Do?

• As an Interior Engineer you are a creative yet technically skilled Interior Engineer with a passion for luxury yacht design. You want to transform concepts into functional, high-end interiors that combine aesthetics, comfort, and marine-grade durability. You’ll:
• Develop and engineer interior layouts and components for luxury yachts.
• Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
• Select materials and finishes suitable for marine environments (lightweight, corrosion resistant, fire-retardant).
• Collaborate with designers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize space usage while maintaining comfort and luxury standards.
• Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and classification requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during production and installation.
• In this role you report to the Technical Manager Engineering.
