Job summary

Signature Design Studio in Bengaluru is seeking creative Interior Designers to join our team for premium residential and commercial projects from concept through execution.

This role suits candidates with internships up to 3–4 years, eager to grow into well-rounded interior design professionals, collaborating with senior designers and architects across concept design, space planning, 2D drawings, 3D visualization and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
• Minimum 3-6 months of relevant internship experience, or up to 3-4 years of professional experience.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating visual sensibility and space planning.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of residential interior design and space planning.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and lighting.
• Ability to understand and prepare interior drawings.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, mood boards and presentations.
• Prepare space plans and furniture layouts.
• Create AutoCAD drawings, working drawings and detailed layouts.
• Develop or coordinate 3D models and photorealistic renders.
• Select and research materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and décor.
• Assist senior designers with complete design development.
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions.
• Incorporate client feedback and manage design revisions.
• Prepare detailed project documentation and specifications.

About the Role:

The Signature Design Studio is looking for creative, detail-oriented and passionate Interior Designers to join our Bangalore team.

We specialize in premium and luxury turnkey interior design and architectural projects, and are looking for designers who want to work on real residential and commercial projects from concept through execution.

This role is ideal for candidates who have completed meaningful internships or have up to 3-4 years of professional experience and want to develop into well-rounded interior design professionals.

You will work closely with senior designers and architects across:

Concept Design, Space Planning, 2D Drawings, 3D Visualization, Material Selection, Client Presentations, Working Drawings

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts, mood boards and presentations.
• Prepare space plans and furniture layouts.
• Create AutoCAD drawings, working drawings and detailed layouts.
• Develop or coordinate 3D models and photorealistic renders.
• Select and research materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and dcor.
• Assist senior designers with complete design development.
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions.
• Incorporate client feedback and manage design revisions.
• Prepare detailed project documentation and specifications.

• Ensure design drawings and details are accurate and properly documented.
• Stay updated with new materials, products and global design trends.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
• Minimum 3-6 months of relevant internship experience, or up to 3-4 years of professional experience.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating visual sensibility and space planning.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of residential interior design and space planning.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and lighting.
• Ability to understand and prepare interior drawings.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of SketchUp, 3DS Max, Enscape, V-Ray, Corona, Photoshop or similar visualization tools will be an advantage.
