Building Services Design & Energy Institute - MEPa2z is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for night shift to lead the design and execution of hospitality and commercial interior projects for the U.S. market.

• 4-10 years of professional interior design experience.
• Experience handling hospitality, hotel, commercial, or high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of hospitality and commercial interior projects for the U.S. market.
• Collaborate with clients, manufacturing teams, and project stakeholders to deliver production-ready designs.
• Develop innovative interior design concepts and detailed drawings and constructions documentation.
• Coordinate FF&E selections and finishes with brand standards and operational needs.

KeyResponsibilities

InteriorDesignConceptDevelopment:

• Developinnovativeinteriordesignconceptsforhospitalityandresidentialprojects.
• Createdetailed2Ddrawings,3Dmodels,layouts,andconstructiondocumentation.
• Preparemoodboards,materialpalettes,finishselections,anddesignpresentations.
• Developspace-planningsolutionsthatalignwithclientrequirements,brandstandards,andprojectobjectives.
• Producehigh-qualityvisualizationsandrenderingstoeffectivelycommunicatedesignintent.

HospitalityDesignFFE

• Designguestrooms,publicareas,lobbies,lounges,restaurants,andotherhospitalityspaces.
• DevelopandspecifyFFE(Furniture,FixturesEquipment)solutionsinaccordancewithprojectrequirements.
• Ensuredesignscomplywithhospitalitybrandstandardsandoperationalneeds.
• Coordinatematerialselections,finishes,andproductspecifications.

ClientStakeholderCoordination

• Presentdesignconceptsandproposalstoclientsandinternalstakeholders.
• Gatherclientfeedbackandincorporaterevisionswhilemaintainingdesignintegrityandprojectobjectives.
• Participateindesignreviewmeetingsandprovideexpertrecommendations.
• Buildstrongworkingrelationshipswithclients,consultants,vendors,andprojectteams.

ProductionTechnicalCoordination

• Collaboratecloselywithproduction,procurement,andengineeringteamstoensuredesignfeasibility.
• Reviewtechnicaldrawingsandspecificationstosupportmanufacturingandprojectexecution.
• Resolvetechnicaldesignchallengesduringproductionandinstallationphases.
• Ensurealldesignsareoptimizedforcost,quality,functionality,andmanufacturability.

DocumentationQualityControl

• Maintainaccurateandupdateddesigndocumentationthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.
• Preparedetailedworkingdrawings,specifications,schedules,andBOQswhererequired.
• Ensuredesigndeliverablesmeetqualitystandards,projecttimelines,andclientexpectations.
• Stayupdatedwithindustrytrends,materials,technologies,andhospitalitydesigninnovations.

RequiredQualifications

• BachelorsorMastersDegreeinInteriorDesign,Architecture,FurnitureDesign,orarelatedfield.
• 4-10 yearsofprofessionalexperienceininteriordesign,furnituredesign,orhospitalitydesign.
