Job summary

UP Studio Design LLP is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead commercial office interior projects in Mumbai. The role focuses on translating client requirements into practical concepts, developing detailed drawings, and coordinating with the execution team to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong CAD background, hands-on project experience, and a robust portfolio of corporate interior interiors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• 3–10 years of professional experience in corporate office interiors.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of technical working drawings.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit and Photoshop is an advantage.
• Good understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting and interior detailing.
• Practical knowledge of site execution, measurements and coordination with contractors.
• Portfolio demonstrating commercial office interior projects is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop space plans, furniture layouts and commercial office interior concepts.
• Prepare 2D layouts, detailed working drawings, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations and sections.
• Develop material palettes, finishes, furniture specifications and design presentations.
• Prepare 3D views and coordinate with 3D visualization resources when required.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, vendors, contractors and the in-house execution team.
• Review BOQs, material specifications and design details to support budget-conscious solutions.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions, resolve design issues and monitor implementation.
• Ensure that drawings, materials and detailing are practical and suitable for site execution.
• Incorporate client feedback and manage design revisions within agreed timelines.
• Support project handover and resolve design-related issues during execution.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and execution-oriented Interior Designer with proven experience in corporate office interiors and commercial fit-out projects.
