Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior & Retail Fixture Designer who bridges the gap between creative design and manufacturing execution. In this role, you won't just create beautiful 3D renders; you will understand how materials come together, ensuring your designs are structurally sound, production-ready, and optimized for value engineering.

Concept & Spatial Design:

Develop innovative retail store layouts, window displays, and custom fixture concepts tailored to brand guidelines.

Technical Drafts & Detailing:

Translate design concepts into precise 2D technical drawings, construction details, and joinery drawings for the production floor.

Material Selection:

Collaborate with the production and costing teams to select appropriate materials (metal, wood, acrylic, glass, PU paint, etc.) while keeping budget limits in mind.

Client & Project Collaboration:

Present design pitches to clients and work closely with project managers and factory supervisors to ensure design intent is maintained during manufacturing and installation.

Site Survey & Verification:

Conduct or review site measurements to ensure fixtures fit perfectly within the final retail space.

Experience:

• 2 - 6 years of experience in interior design, industrial design, or retail visual merchandising (experience specifically in retail fixtures or exhibition stalls is highly preferred).

Software Proficiency:

• Advanced skills in AutoCAD (essential for production-level 2D layouts).
• Strong command of SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software is an added bonus.

Portfolio Requirement:

A portfolio showcasing both creative retail concepts and technical/joinery drawings is required.
