• Coordinate with the sales team for design briefs, updates, and client approvals.
• Work with production teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and secure final approvals.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, validation, and project discussions.
• Maintain documentation, drawing versions, and project files.
• Collaborate with project and installation teams to ensure execution matches approved designs.
• Stay updated with new materials, hardware, lighting, and retail design trends.
• Support sales teams by preparing presentations and design concepts for client pitches.

Role Requirement:

The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing functional and visually appealing optical and retail showroom spaces, translating client requirements into creative, practical design solutions.

Understand client requirements through discussions with the sales team or directly with clients.

Prepare 2D layouts, 3D views, renders, and concept boards based on project needs.

Develop design concepts for retail showrooms, display units, furniture layouts, counters, and storage units.

Create detailed technical and production drawings including elevations, sections, materials, finishes, and specifications.

Coordinate with the sales team for design briefs, updates, and client approvals.

Work closely with production teams (wood, metal, acrylic, PU, digital print) to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.

Revise designs based on client feedback and ensure timely final approvals.

Conduct site visits for measurements, validation, and project discussions.

Maintain proper documentation, drawing versions, and project files.

Collaborate with project and installation teams to ensure execution matches approved designs.

Stay updated with new materials, hardware, lighting, and retail design trends.

Support sales teams by preparing presentations and design concepts for client pitches.

Skills and Competencies

Strong creativity and visualization ability

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other design software

Good understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture manufacturing

Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy

Good communication and client presentation skills

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Knowledge of retail showroom layouts and furniture ergonomics (preferred)
