Job summary

Interiors With Art Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage FF&E, finishes and materials for luxury interior projects in India and overseas. You’ll source suppliers, negotiate terms and track orders from initial enquiry through installation on site.

You’ll work with design and site teams, manage international shipments, and build strong supplier relationships to ensure exact finishes meet project specs and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in procurement for luxury interiors or hospitality.
• Experience buying hard and soft items locally and internationally.
• Strong Excel skills (essential).
• Experience with procurement software such as Programa, Estimax or Studio Designer is helpful.
• Detail-oriented with strong vendor negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage suppliers and manufacturers for FF&E and finishes in India and internationally.
• Coordinate procurement for hard items (stone, tile, joinery, etc.) and soft items (furniture, fabrics, lighting).
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and terms; manage POs through to delivery and installation.
• Coordinate international shipping, customs, and local logistics, including storage and site deliveries.
• Track budgets and procurement schedules against project timelines; maintain trackers and flag risks.
• Visit factories and suppliers to check quality and manage samples and approvals.
• Collaborate with designers, the quantity surveyor and site teams to ensure correct orders.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.

Job description

Every finish and piece of furniture on our projects has to be sourced, ordered, shipped and installed, and you'll be in charge of making that happen. You'll find suppliers and makers in India and abroad, negotiate prices and lead times, and follow every order until it's on site. Projects usually run from ₹10 crore to ₹90 crore, so there's a lot to keep track of and the details matter.

We've recently opened offices in Delhi and Chennai and set up a joint venture with Sotheby's International Realty India, and the team here is growing quickly. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Source and manage suppliers, vendors and manufacturers for FF&E, finishes and materials, in India and internationally.
• Handle procurement for hard items (stone, tile, joinery, flooring, sanitaryware) and soft items (furniture, fabrics, lighting, accessories).
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and terms, then manage purchase orders through to delivery and installation.
• Coordinate international shipping, customs and local logistics, including storage and site deliveries.
• Track budgets and procurement schedules against project timelines, keep trackers accurate and flag risks early.
• Manage samples and approvals, and visit factories and suppliers to check quality where needed.
• Work closely with designers, the quantity surveyor and site teams so what's specified is exactly what gets ordered.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships in India and internationally.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• At least 3 to 5 years in procurement for luxury interiors, fit-out, hospitality or similar.
• Experience buying both hard and soft items, locally in India and internationally.
• Strong Excel skills (essential).
• Experience with procurement software such as Programa, Estimax or Studio Designer is helpful.
• Very detail oriented. You're the one who spots the wrong finish code.
• Confident negotiating, with good knowledge of the Indian supply chain and international luxury brands.
• Openness to AI and new tools that make procurement faster and more accurate.
