Interior Designer

Job summary

STED archbuild invites a senior interior designer to lead commercial office interior projects from concept to construction documentation. You will develop concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent and execution quality.

The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong space planning knowledge, and expert proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with a proven ability to manage junior staff and liaise with clients.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a relevant technical qualification.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in commercial office interiors or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of other design and visualization software is preferred.
• Good understanding of space planning, technical drafting, materials, finishes, and interior execution.
• Strong team management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide Junior Designers & draftsmen to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and incorporate approved design changes.
• Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and adherence to project timelines.
