Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with the design and project teams to develop interior concepts from initial brief to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating design proposals, preparing mood boards and material palettes, and coordinating FF&E selections aligned with project requirements and budgets. The role involves developing detailed drawings and layouts, working closely with architects and contractors, and ensuring that designs meet functional, aesthetic, and safety standards. The Interior Designer will participate in site visits, monitor progress, support quality control, and address design-related issues during execution. The position also includes client interaction for presentations, feedback discussions, and design revisions, while maintaining accurate documentation and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design foundation with skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
• Knowledge of Architecture concepts that support integrated design solutions.
• Ability to produce clear and accurate Construction Drawings for execution.
• Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and current interior design trends.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is an advantage.
