Job summary

Aertsen Living in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to translate client briefs into detailed concepts and technical drawings. You will collaborate with the Sales, 3D visualization, and Operations teams to deliver designs that meet client needs and project constraints.

You will create design timelines, manage communication with clients, and ensure that all drawings and specifications align with established standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in Residential Interior Design.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, residential design standards, and ergonomic design.
• Proficient in creating precise technical drawings and CAD software.
• English, Telugu or Hindi language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding process for new clients.
• Explain the design process to clients with transparency and set realistic expectations.
• Attend design kickoff meetings at the site with Sales Manager for knowledge transfer.
• Create and communicate a detailed design phase timeline with key milestones.
• Engage in discussions with clients to understand functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Develop tailored design concepts with detailed quotations to set budget boundaries.
• Ensure cohesive integration of creative vision with technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with Sales, 3D visualization, KWS and Operations teams to translate designs into plans.
• Develop detailed design drawings and provide specifications for materials and hardware.
• Work with Project Management to ensure designs comply with site conditions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation in the CRM with daily updates.
• Uphold Aertsen Living design and technical standards.
• Participate in training to stay updated on standards.
• Ensure precision and accuracy of all design documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

If you have a keen eye for design and always have your finger on the pulse of industry trends, then we want to hear from you. Our firm is interested in hiring an experienced Interior Designer. Your role is to

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients.

• Ensure a cohesive integration of creative vision with technical feasibility, fostering effective communication and synergy between design aesthetics and operational functionality.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the Sales, 3D visualization, KWS and Operations teams to translate conceptual designs into practical and executable plans.
• Development of detailed design drawings. Provide specifications for brand, model, and make of raw materials and hardware proposed in the design.
• Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure technical compliance of proposed designs with on-site conditions.
• Ensure accurate project documentation in the CRM tool through daily updates.
• Adhere to and uphold the established design and technical standards of Aertsen Living.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay informed about any updates or changes to design and technical standards.
• Take responsibility for the accuracy and precision of all design documentation and drawings.
• Embrace a proactive approach in identifying and resolving potential design standard challenges.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in design execution and uphold the reputation of Aertsen Living in the industry.

Requirements

Must haves to apply:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (B.Des).
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3-6years of professional experience in Residential Interior Design.
• Possess a profound understanding of interior design principles, residential design standards, and ergonomic design.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of various materials used in design execution, along with the ability to weigh their pros and cons for a seamless living experience.
• Exhibit a discerning eye for differentiating between good and bad design, considering both functional and aesthetic aspects.
• Proficient in creating precise technical drawings.
• Proficient in CAD software applications.
• A confident and compelling tone of communication. Eloquent English \ Telugu \ Hindi gets you an extra point.
