Job summary

Eaton seeks an Intercompany Lead Analyst (Technical) in Pune, India to drive global intercompany process excellence through automation, standardization, and digital transformation. The role partners with IC COE, Finance, IT, Shared Services, and vendors to deliver governance, data analytics, and scalable solutions that improve controls and efficiency.

The position covers ERP transitions (Oracle→SAP), RPA, and continuous improvement programs, with heavy stakeholder engagement across regions.

Qualifications

• BE / CMA / MBA / ACCA is required.
• 4+ years of extensive experience in Intercompany processes with finance, shared services or transformation.
• Experience with ERP systems, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SAP, Oracle, and Vendor Master teams to resolve master data issues affecting intercompany processing.
• Support configuration changes and data correction requests impacting intercompany operations.
• Strategic project management: lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation and stabilization.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate initiatives impacting intercompany accounting, settlement, invoicing, reconciliations & dispute management.
• Ensure governance standards are maintained and project benefits are measurable.
• Lead Lean, CI and process optimization initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor process performance and project outcomes.
• Provide governance and controls for automation and digital initiatives.

• The Intercompany Lead Analyst supports the execution of strategic initiatives across the global intercompany process landscape, with a strong focus on automation, process standardization, digital transformation, and technology adoption.
• The role partners closely with the IC COE, Finance, IT, Shared Services, Business Units, and external technology providers to identify and implement opportunities that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls and compliance, enhance visibility, and drive sustainable business outcomes.
• Key responsibilities include supporting ERP and system transformation projects such as new site implementations, Oracle-to-SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) conversions, system upgrades, RPA and Continuous Improvement initiatives, and other controllership system enhancement projects.
• The position also contributes to project execution, stakeholder engagement, and the deployment of technology-enabled solutions that optimize end-to-end intercompany processes and align with global business objectives.

Qualifications:

Requirement:

• B.E / CMA / MBA / ACCA
• 4+ years extensive experience in Intercompany processes with progressive experience in Finance, Shared Services, Intercompany Operations, Process Excellence, or Transformation

Intercompany Operations Support & Governance

Coordinate with SAP, Oracle, and Vendor Master teams to resolve master data issues impacting transaction processing

Support configuration changes and data correction requests affecting intercompany operations

Strategic Project Management

Part of cross-functional projects from concept through implementation and stabilization

Manage project scope, timelines, risks & stakeholder communication

Coordinate initiatives impacting intercompany accounting, settlement, invoicing, reconciliations & dispute mgmt

Ensure project governance standards are maintained and project benefits are measurable

Process Improvement & Standardization

Analyse current state processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate

Lead Lean, CI & process optimization initiatives

Data Analytics & Reporting

Assist with the development of dashboards and KPIs to monitor process performance and project outcomes

Leverage data analytics to identify root causes of aged balances, reconciliation issues, and operational inefficiencies

Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Controllership, Shared Services, and Operational teams

Facilitate workshops and solution-design sessions with key stakeholders

Governance & Controls

Ensure new technology solutions comply with internal control, compliance, and audit requirements

Support implementation of governance frameworks for automation and digital initiative

Skills:

• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and compliance requirements
• SAP (ECC and S4) FICO Modules & Oracle R12 knowledge with expertise in GL
• Well versed with integration of FI with other modules of SAP (ECC and S4)/Oracle R12
• Understand how R12 maps to SAP (ECC and S4) and connection of harmonized values
• Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar technologies
• Have knowledge of Project management methodologies
• Process mapping and business analysis techniques
• Strong Excel and data analytics capabilities
• Multi-national experience essential
