Position: Integration Engineer

Experience: 3-5 Years

Role Summary

Design and implement integrations between various module and third-party systems and enterprise applications. Ensure secure, reliable data flow across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design integration architecture for various modules along the products developed
• Implement API integrations with third-party collaboration tools
• Develop webhook handlers and event-driven integrations
• Design data mapping and transformation logic between systems
• Implement authentication and authorization for third-party integrations
• Build and maintain integration documentation and API contracts
• Monitor integration health and implement alerting systems
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide customer support
• Evaluate new integration opportunities and technologies
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of integration or systems engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in API development and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Experience with API gateway and middleware technologies
• Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and ETL concepts
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, etc.)
• Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architecture
• Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML)
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with webhook management and event processing
• Knowledge of HR Tech ecosystem and common ATS/HRIS systems or Vendor Management Systems
• Experience with API documentation tools and practices
• Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements
• Experience with cloud integration services (AWS EventBridge, GCP Pub/Sub)
