DXC Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE developer to contribute to large-scale software solutions. You will design, implement, and optimize backend services using Core Java, Spring/Hibernate, and REST APIs, while collaborating with architecture and QA teams.

The role involves working with AWS cloud technologies, containers, and front-end integration with AngularJS. Strong emphasis on performance tuning and working in an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Core Java/Advanced Java/J2EE development experience.
• Experience with Software Development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of MVC, Spring and Hibernate frameworks; REST APIs are mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with architecture teams to align requirements with solutions and secure design sign-off.
• Work on AWS Cloud with Dockerized containers.
• Develop and consume Webservices/REST services; work with AngularJS front-end and REST APIs.
• Identify and address performance issues related to multithreading and multiprocessing.
• Monitor and diagnose performance using tools like JProfiler, VisualVM, Glowroot; familiarity with Dynatrace is a plus.

Job Description:

Job Profile/Key Responsibilities

• Excellent hands-on Core Java/Advanced Java/J2EE development experience
• Hands-on experience in Software Development process (Requirements Gathering and Use Case Definition, Design, and Implementation of the software solution)
• Experienced & understands architectural principles and frameworks (MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Webservices, REST APIs are mandatory).
• Has thorough knowledge of the J2EE Application Platform Configuration & Performance Optimization.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure alignment of requirements and solutions and to facilitate design sign-off and approvals
• Experienced on working on AWS Cloud including Dockerized Containers
• Experienced in Webservices/REST services; AngularJS based applications & REST APIs
• Experienced in handling performance issues related to multithreading/multiprocessing
• Experienced on troubleshooting performance issues using various monitoring & analysis tools like VisuvalVM, JProfiler, Glowroot, etc. Good if the candidate has hands-on Dynatrace experience.
• Provides subject matter expertise in performance monitoring, tuning, analysis and diagnostics.
• Evaluates and researches emerging performance tuning methodologies, monitoring tools, processes, and technologies.
• Develop and promote processes, best practices, and standards in Performance Engineering
• Good Experience in Oracle/SQL Server database and SQL
• Proven industry experience of building large scale systems and with hands-on engineering skills
• Ability to manage diverse teams of at least 15-20 members and coordinate with developers / testers / architects / BAs and other stakeholders effectively
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and running all Scrum events (Daily Standups; Sprint Planning; Sprint Retrospective; etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and coordinate with testers / architects and other stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with peers in planning and coordination of work activities
