Job summary

Paytm in Mumbai is seeking a results-driven Insurance Sales Lead to own sourcing and growth of insurance business within the Lending portfolio. You will build and lead a field-based team of FSEs to drive acquisition, conversions, and sustained insurance volume.

The role requires strong field sales, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with a track record of hitting targets in a fast-paced lending environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in insurance/ lending/ financial services sales or sourcing.
• Prior people-management or team-lead experience preferred (hiring and managing FSEs/field teams is a plus)
• Strong field sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with targets, reporting, and working in a fast-paced lending environment

Responsibilities

• Source and grow insurance business for the Lending team through field and partner channels
• Hire, onboard, coach, and manage FSEs to hit sourcing and conversion targets
• Set daily/weekly plans, track pipeline, and drive productivity across the team
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal Lending stakeholders
• Ensure process compliance, quality of leads, and accurate reporting
• Identify market opportunities and share ground-level insights with leadership
• Meet individual and team targets for insurance sourcing and business growth

Role Summary
