Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate in Instrumentation Engineering with 5–7 years of relevant experience in inspection/QC.
• Experience in reviewing contract documents, drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret national/international standards and codes during inspection.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and interpret QA requirements.
• Study drawings, technical specifications and data sheets.
• Interpret standards/codes during inspection and review test certificates.
• Review stage and final inspection against QAP/ITP and drawings for C&I items.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and tkII approved TPIA for inspection activities.
• Prepare inspection visit reports and feedback on inspection reports.
• Coordinate with clients for joint inspections and supplier inspection reports.

Job profile requirements:

Shall possess competency for

• Review of Contract Documents and Interpretation of QA related requirements.
• Study of Drawings, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets.
• Interpretation and application of national / international standards and codes during inspection.
• Review of Type Test Reports wherever applicable.
• Review of raw material test certificates.
• Review of stage inspection reports.
• Stage & Final Inspection with reference to Approved QAP / ITP & Drawings of C & I Items, Equipment (Gauges, Instruments, VFD, DCS, etc.)
• Visual, Dimensional inspection, Assembly inspection as applicable.
• Routine test, type test, functional test inspection as applicable.
• Painting Inspection
• Preparation of Inspection Visit Reports.
• Review of TPIA Inspection Reports deputed for inspection.
• Feedback to TPIA based on review of Inspection Reports.
• Review of Suppliers Inspection reports and Inspection Dossier.
• Co-ordination with Cross-functional departments as required.
• Co-ordination with tkII Approved TPIA for inspection related activities.
• Co-ordination with Client pertaining to Joint Inspections.
