Job summary

Fives Combustion Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Vadodara, Gujarat, seeks a Sr.

Engineer – C&I to design, implement, and support control and instrumentation systems for diverse industrial projects. You will lead technical reviews, compile IO lists, and coordinate with clients and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable operation. The candidate should have 4–8 years in instrumentation and controls, strong PLC/SCADA knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls.
• Experience managing I&C projects to successful conclusions.
• Familiarity with process controls and strategy.
• Ability to work with others and lead by example.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare datasheets for valves, cables, motors and heaters.
• Create instrument index/IO list and cause & effect diagrams.
• Review P&ID and hookup drawings.
• Prepare logic diagrams and write-up.
• Select PLC system and review technical proposals.
• Coordinate with clients and suppliers for proposals.
• Draft instrumentation & control design criteria for projects.
• Study customer specifications and prepare C&I documents.

Fives Combustion Systems Pvt. Ltd. is actively seeking a Sr. Engineer – C&I to join its teams in Vadodara, Gujarat.

We are currently seeking a Sr. Engineer – C&I who has the same desire to prove that “industry can do it!”

Position Summary

Control and instrumentation (C&I) engineers are responsible for designing, Selection, detailing equipment which is used to monitor, control and operate engineering systems and processes.

Your job is to make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Datasheet preparation of following:
  • On/off valves
  • Cables
  • Motors
  • Electrical heater
• Preparation of instrument index/IO list/Cause & Effect diagram
• Review of P&ID/ Hook up drawing
• Preparation of Logic diagram & write up
• Selection of PLC system.
• Reviewing of technical proposal
• Co-ordination with client & supplier for technical proposal

Other Essential Functions

• Preparing Instrumentation & Control System design criteria to reflect specific requirements of the project.
• Study of customer’s specification
• Preparation of C&I documents e.g. Instrument data sheets, Control Panel drawings, Logic diagram, I/O List, Instrument list, Loop Diagram, Hook-up diagram, Cause and effect diagram, Cable schedule, Junction box schedule etc.
• Review offers received from the vendor and provide technical clearance to purchase team for procurement.
• Designing and developing new control systems
• Analyzing data and presenting findings in written reports
• Working collaboratively with design engineers, Project engineers, purchasers, manufacturing and other internal staff
• liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities.
• Project management within cost and time constrained environments
• understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards
• providing advice and consultancy support

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience in Instrumentation and Controls
• Experience in managing I&C projects to a successful conclusion
• Familiarity with process controls and strategy
• Ability to work well with others and lead by example
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Good communication skills with clients and employees

Qualifications :

• B.E/B.Tech - Instrumentation & Control / Electronics – with recognized institute/university.
