Job summary

GIET University, Gunupur invites applications for an instructor role in Aeronautical/Aircraft Maintenance training. The selected candidate will deliver prescribed syllabus, conduct practical demonstrations, and guide students in technical and professional development. The ideal candidate should hold B.Tech/B.E.

and M.Tech/M.E. in relevant engineering, with 2–5 years of teaching experience; DGCA regulations familiarity is preferred. Accommodation and benefits include EPF, GIS, andMediclaim.

Responsibilities

• Deliver syllabus effectively within academic schedule.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and training sessions on Aircraft maintenance.
• Guide students on technical subjects, skills, discipline and professional development.
• Report to Training Manager and execute assigned tasks smoothly.
• Coordinate with Training Manager and staff for smooth training delivery.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Completion of the prescribed syllabus (with effective delivery) within the academic schedule.
• Conduct of practical demonstrations, workshop sessions and aircraft maintenance-related training as assigned.
• Guidance to students on technical subjects, practical skills, discipline and professional development.
• Report to Training Manager and smooth discharge of works assigned by TM
• Coordination with the Training Manager, other instructors and administrative staff for smooth conduct of training.

Preferred candidate profile

• For General Candidates: Candidate must hold a B. Tech/B.E. AND an M. Tech/M.E. in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering with relevant experience of 02 to 05 years in teaching Aeronautical / Aircraft Maintenance Modules. PhD is not required.
• For Defense Personnel / Ex-Servicemen: Minimum 10 years of practical experience in the Aircraft Maintenance trade, along with an official Degree Equivalence Certificate issued by the competent military authority. (e.g., Service Graduation / Degree Equivalence Certificate issued by the Armed Forces)
• The candidate should be in the age group of 25-40 years.
• Preference shall be given to candidates with prior instructional experience and familiarity with applicable DGCA regulations and AME training requirements.

Salary: Shall Commensurate with experience besides EPF + GIS + Mediclaim + Accommodation.
